Multan: Youth dies due to doctor's negligence
Heirs of the deceased staged a protest against doctors negligence and damaged furniture of hospital
MULTAN (Dunya News) – According to details, a youth, named Atif, suffering from brain tumor died in a private hospital situated at the Tariq Road in Multan due to doctor’s negligence.
Heirs of the deceased said that Atif was under treatment at the Nishtar Hospital where Dr Zahid advised them to shift him to his private hospital and also demanded three lakh rupees.
The heirs further said that they deposited one lakh rupees but the staff of the hospital paid no attention to the patient and he died due to doctor’s negligence.
The angry relatives of Atif staged a protest against doctor’s negligence inside the hospital after his death and ransacked the furniture, doors and equipment of the hospital. Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Police also arrested four staff members of the hospital including two nurses.
